Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) from a university established by law in India.
• Teacher Training Qualification: Must possess a professional training credential such as BTC / D.El.Ed., Special BTC, a 2-year Diploma in Special Education approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), or a 4-year B.El.Ed. degree.
• Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): Candidates must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) conducted by either the Uttar Pradesh Government (UPTET) or the Central Government (CTET).

Age Limit (As on 01/07/2026)

• Minimum Age : 21 Years
• Maximum Age : 40 Years
• Age Relaxation Applicable as per UPESSC UP Primary Teacher Apprentice Recruitment Notification Rules.

Selection Process for UPESSC UP Primary Teacher Vacancy 2026

• Written Competitive Exam: Candidates must take a 360-mark objective written test.
• Merit List & Score Normalization: A merit list is created based on written exam scores. If exams take place across multiple shifts, normalization procedures apply.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates present self-attested copies of certificates, marksheets, non-creamy layer/caste documents, and affidavits.

• Pay Level: Level-6
• Pay Scale: Minimum ₹35,400 to Maximum ₹1,12,400

1. Visit the UPESSC official website at www.upessc.up.gov.in.
2. Complete the mandatory One Time Registration (OTR) to obtain your login credentials.
3. Log in and fill out the online application form with accurate personal and educational details.
4. Select school preference options for Urban Basic Education and Aided Private primary schools.
5. Upload passport photo (30–300 KB), scanned signature (10–200 KB), and self-attested documents in PDF format (50–500 KB).
6. Pay the required application fee online and submit the form before the deadline of 15th October 2026.
7. Download and print three final copies of the submitted application form.
